High-stress environment

Um cafe, por favor.

Margaret needed caffeinated energy to keep her mind sharp during the trevails of the day. Especially after the trauma we endured yesterday. Fortunately, we met each challenge with fortitude and shall be united in our efforts to face what may come tomorrow. (We’re talking about going to Seville in Spain, so I’m gonna make Mags wear a burkha to the mosque – ffffnnnnaaarrrrr!!)

(Oh, I actually got in the water….up to my neck…and didn’t get shark-bit. That’s the first time I’ve been in the ocean past my ankles in about 30 years. No bullshit.)

Here’s Mags and our trusty VW UP! What a beast it is. (Cue sarcasm) At least it is efficient, but fuel isn’t as expensive as Italy was in 2010)

We later had a wonderful dinner at Casa da Rocha on the Praia da Rocha. Margaret had Sea Bass with Lemon and Orange and it wa almost like a meal and dessert together. I had Salted Cod in Olive Oil avec New Potatoes. It was quite yummy. I normally don’t take food pictures because that makes you a wanker in my opinion, but several folks requested. This is the view from the restaurant:
